SURESTAFF is immediately hiring CNC Machine Operators for a client in Addison, IL. SURESTAFF is invested in their team members! All temp to hire employees are offered competitive compensation ($20-$25/hr. DOE) as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision). Available shifts include: ****1st shift 7am-3:30pm **** 2nd shift 3:00pm-11:30pm Overtime is available on a first come, first serve basis. **Duties and Responsibilities **
Operates CNC Swiss Machines equipment to produce products in accordance with production needs. (Citizen, Star, and Tornos experience preferred but not required)
Inspects parts and documents findings on appropriate paperwork as needed.
Maintains work areas in a clean, orderly, and safe manner including returning tools to designated areas.
Notifies management of product discrepancies, equipment malfunctions and/or personal injuries.
Program/Setup CNC Swiss Machines.
Required Skills:
Basic Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Must be able to read and interpret Blueprints, GD&T, and understand basic tolerances required.
Ability to setup/operate and run CNC machining equipment.
Ability to inspect, use micrometers, comparators, thread gages, pin gages, drop indicator etc.
Education/Experience:Prior work-related experience required. 3 years plus performing setup on CNC machinery. Physical Demands:Requires constant movement in a variety of activities. Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 35 pounds. You should be proficient in:
G-Code
M-Code
Blueprint Reading
Preventive Maintenance
Machines & technologies you will use:
CNC Mill (3-4 axis VMC)
CNC Lathe (Swiss Preferred but not required)
Calipers, Micrometers, Drop Indicator, comparator etc.
Program edits required
Full CNC programmer a plus but not required
Must be able to perform setups/offsets/tool changes
