SURESTAFF is immediately hiring for an experienced Industrial Machine Mechanic for a large, established client located in Joliet, IL. Industrial Machine Mechanic will ensure that equipment and machinery are working at optimal efficiency to produce and manufacture products safely and on time. This position will perform electrical, mechanical, sheet metal, welding, and pipefitting duties which involve replacing, repairing, and cleaning equipment and/or component parts. This position will entail standing for long periods of time and lifting up to 50 pounds during shift. SURESTAFF is invested in their team members! All temp-to-hire employees are offered competitive compensation as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision). Generous referral bonuses are available upon hire. Available shifts include 7:00am - 3:30pm Overtime is available on a first come, first serve basis. Pay: 50k-60k starting. Higher range available with allstar experience Responsibilities of the Industrial Machine Mechanic:
Perform preventative maintenance on production equipment.
Repair all production equipment as needed.
Perform general housekeeping duties.
Update equipment, machinery, and tools as needed.
Comply with GMP, safety, OSHA, and audit standards.
Preferred Qualifications of the Industrial Machine Mechanic:
3+ years’ experience in a production, manufacturing, or industrial environment.
Previous mechanic or machine maintenance experience in manufacturing or production.
Proven track record of effective problem-solving.
Strong communication skills.
