SURESTAFF is immediately hiring a Janitor for a large, well-known client in Lake Zurich, IL. As a Janitor for SURESTAFF you will be an essential part of our client’s core operations. SURESTAFF is invested in their team members! All temp-to-hire employees are offered competitive compensation ($16/hr) as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision). Available Shifts are 2nd Shift: 1pm-9:30pm or 2pm-10:30pm Janitor Duties and Responsibilities
Sweeps, vacuums, mops, dusts and empties trash and recycle containers.
Cleans all bathrooms including fixtures and floors.
Periodic washing of windows, dusting and washing walls, cleaning ceilings and dusting and polishing light fixtures.
Moves light items such as boxes, furniture, crates and equipment to clean areas.
Remove stains from such surfaces as rugs, walls, and floors using chemicals and cleaning solutions.
Place inventory order of janitorial supplies.
Place work maintenance orders for minor repairs.
Responsible for informing manager of all noteworthy activities that take place.
Follow ISO/IATF, safety, and environmental procedures as well as department and corporate policies and procedures.
Janitor Requirements and Qualifications
Must be able to comprehend simple, sometimes detailed, oral and written instructions.
Must be able to drive to various locations.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers and decimals.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed and uninvolved oral instructions.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
