SURESTAFF is immediately hiring Machine Operators for a client in Mundelein, IL. The Machine Operator is responsible for operating automated and semi-automated production equipment to create and manufacture finished products. SURESTAFF is invested in their team members! All temp-to-hire employees are offered competitive compensation $18.50/hr. - $21/hr. as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision). Generous referral bonuses are available upon hire. Available shifts include: 1st shift (5am-3:30pm) or 2nd shift (3:30pm-2am) Overtime is available on a first come, first serve basis. Responsibilities of the Machine Operator:
Operate assigned mechanical equipment.
Move parts to be sorted from staging area.
Follow parts sorting schedule and expedite parts flow to reflect changing production needs.
Report completed transactions into tracking system.
After sorting process is complete, package product into packaging cartons.
Ensure that items produced pass quality control requirements.
Complete all necessary documents fully and accurately.
Adhere to 5s standards (e.g., maintain cleanliness of work area, etc.)
Follow all safety, environmental and quality policies and procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications of the Machine Operator:
Ability to interpret work instructions.
Ability to follow written and verbal directions, including blueprints and production order schedules
Possess knowledge of subject matter, including use of basic hand tools and simple gauges.
