Maintenace Electrician direct-hirePay- $35.00/hr2nd shift- 2:30pm-10:30pmLocation: Toledo, OH What you will do
Performs routine diagnostics, preventative maintenance, and repairs of all types of electrical service devices, communications systems, alarm systems, programmable logic controllers, and sold state control devices.
Selects and specifies proper materials and equipment to accomplish appropriate tasks in a safe and efficient manner. Required to select materials, size conductors, and electrical devices according to code and assist contractors &/or engineering in the determination of objectives for modifications of existing systems.
Reads and works from blueprints and specifications, read electrical schematics, does material take offs, and coordinates workflow with other crafts. Works under the general supervision of the Plant Manager or Engineering Project Manager. Specific tasks are accomplished through a self-directed work ethic.
Performs electrical work related to health & safety issues.
Supports all electrically related aspects of production, process changes & improvements, and health/safety.
What is requiredA Journeyman's card in Electrical Industrial Trade or certification of having completed a U.S. Department of Labor recognized apprenticeship as a Journeyman Electrician along with a minimum of 2 years of related experience.
