SURESTAFF is immediately hiring for an experienced Supervisor Trainee for a client in South Holland, IL. The Supervisor Trainee is responsible for overseeing and assisting in the day-to-day operations and managing plant employees working on multiple production lines. This position will be responsible for assisting the Production Manager in overseeing production. As a Trainee, candidates will assume regular duties and be given special projects, management assignments, and quality projects by management. This role will rotate tasks during training to be familiar with the operations and management as candidates learn how to run production department and manufacturing processes. Available shifts include:Monday-Friday8:30am-5:00pm Responsibilities & Duties of the Supervisor Trainee:
Weighing Packages and labeling them appropriately.
Inspecting packages to ensure they are not damaged.
Inspecting shipping containers to ensure they meet shipping regulations.
Assembly daily order by shipping location or any other shipping categories.
Keeping records of packages including delivery notes, invoices, etc.
Filing out packing and order forms with the relevant shipping information.
Sealing shipping containers and labeling them appropriately.
Cleaning shipping containers and other shipping supplies.
Preferred Qualifications of the Supervisor Trainee:
3+ years’ experience in a production, manufacturing, or industrial environment.
Previous leadership experience in manufacturing or production.
Proven track record of effective problem-solving.
Strong communication skills.
