SURESTAFF is immediately hiring Embroidery Machine Operators for a well-known company in Niles, IL. The Embroidery Machine Operator is responsible for operate and maintain embroidery machines to produce high-quality decorated apparel and promotional items. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. SURESTAFF is invested in their team members! All temp-to-hire employees are offered competitive compensation $18-$22/HR as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision). Generous referral bonuses are available upon hire. Available shifts include:8:00 AM.-4:00 PM. Overtime is available on a first come, first serve basis. Responsibilities of the Embroidery Machine Operator:
Set up, operate, and monitor multi-head embroidery machines to ensure accurate and high-quality stitching.
Interpret job orders, work orders, and production schedules to complete embroidery runs on time.
Hoop garments, load threads, and ensure proper tension, color matching, and thread changes.
Perform routine machine maintenance such as cleaning, oiling, and replacing needles.
Inspect finished products for quality, accuracy, and consistency.
Troubleshoot and correct machine or stitching issues.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
Required Qualifications of the Embroidery Machine Operator:
Previous embroidery machine experience preferred.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
Ability to read and interpret production work orders.
Basic mechanical skills and comfort working with machinery.
Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
Team-oriented with strong communication skills.
