Job Description
The world's second-largest supplier of acoustic and trim products has a great opportunity for a Process Engineer to join their team in Fremont, OH. Salary is based on the level of experience and quality of the interview ($80-110K).Work day typically begins at 7 am and it is a union facility. Sponsorship is not offered now or in the future. Relocation is not offered What you will do
Coordinates development of new and replacement programs; tooling and processes ahead of launch requirements.
Interfaces with customers and Corporate Engineering groups to provide required resources and support for launch activities.
Provides support for design engineering changes on new and existing programs.
Dedicated to new launches; determines the timing of turnover to Program Engineers.
Performs, develops, evaluates, and improves manufacturing methods.
Analyzes and plans workforce utilization, space requirements, and workflow, and designs layout of equipment and workspace for maximum efficiency.
Confers with vendors to determine product specifications and arrange for purchase of equipment, materials, or parts, and evaluates products according to specifications and quality standards.
Estimates production times, staffing requirements, and related costs to provide information for management decisions.
Confers with management, engineering, and other staff regarding manufacturing capabilities, production schedules, and other considerations to facilitate production processes.
Applies statistical methods to estimate future manufacturing requirements and potential.
Examines, plans and specifications for new machinery or equipment to determine if all safety precautions have been included.
Inspect fire and safety equipment, machinery, and facility to identify and correct potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations for new work cells.

What is required
Bachelor’s of Science in Engineering or related technical experience with a minimum of four (4) years in a Manufacturing Environment or a combination of schooling and experience.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
Ability to manage multiple projects and activities simultaneously
Ability to concentrate and pay close attention to detail
Knowledge of safety and quality
Engineering processes experience
Cross-functional experience
LEAN experience within a manufacturing environment
Hydraulics/pneumatics experience
Material conveyance experience
Good communication skills and ability to interface on all levels of operation
