Large cutting edge manufacturing supplier in Shelby Twp, MI with expertise in design, engineering and manufacturing located in 29 countries. Payroll Specialist/Human Resource Generalist opportunity to be apart of a dynamic Human Resource team that supports each other, embraces full transparency, and enjoy each others company. A typical day includes collaboration and a willingness to help each other while having fun. Job Title: Payroll Specialist/Human Resource GeneralistLocation: Shelby Twp., MI Summary: Payroll Specialist/Human Resource Generalist supports all Human Resource functions including payroll, employee relations, benefits and recruitment activities. Duties/Responsibilities:
Full cycle payroll for exempt and non-exempt employees (400-500)
Assist in the administration of policies and procedures including benefits, safety and health, employee work rules and regulations, employee orientation and training
Support all employees including hourly employees on the plant floor
Assist in the coordination of company events, employee relations and training
Responsible for recruiting candidates for open positions
File and organize forms, documents, reference material and assist in maintenance of employment records
Create employee communications and presentations for employee meetings
Review hourly performance reviews
Skills:
HR BS Degree preferred
Minimum of 5 years experience in human resource field
Minimum of 1 years experience in manufacturing environment
Experience working with MS Office, Workday, ADP and AOD software
