SURESTAFF is immediately hiring for a detail-oriented Production Lead~ Metal Powder Coating position in Garland, TX . A successful Production Lead should have excellent troubleshooting skills, have experience inspecting product in a fast-paced industrial manufacturing environment, and be able to ensure that product consistently meets quality standards and guidelines. SURESTAFF is invested in their team members! All temp-to-hire employees are offered competitive compensation ($20/25Hr) DOE as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision). Generous referral bonuses are available upon hire. Available shifts include 6:00am to 3:30pm Monday-Friday. Overtime is available on a first come, first serve basis. Responsibilities of the Production Lead Metal Powder Coater:
Production experience/Knowledgeable in Hot Dip, Galvanizing, Coil Coating, Metal Coating
Manufacturing experience/Knowledgeable in Hot Dip, Galvanizing, Coil Coating, Metal Coating
Create an inspiring team environment with an open communication culture
Set clear team goals
Delegate tasks and set deadlines
Oversee day-to-day operation
Monitor team performance and report on metrics
Motivate team members
Discover training needs and provide coaching
Listen to team members’ feedback and resolve any issues or conflicts
Suggest and organize team building activities
Required Qualifications of the Production Lead Metal Powder Coater:
Proven work experience as a team leader or supervisor
In-depth knowledge of performance metrics
Good PC skills, especially MS Excel and Power Point
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Organizational and time-management skills
Professional Decision-making skill
3+ years’ experience in Leadership in a manufacturing environment. 2. Former Lead or Supervisory experience preferred. 3. Thorough knowledge and use of Micrometers and Calipers.
3+ years’ experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience with quality systems and controls.
