Job Description
We are looking for a Direct Hire CNC AutoCAD Programmer for our Production Control team in our DeKalb, IL location. First Shift This position is responsible for creating daily AutoCAD Programs using the SigmaNEST software AutoCAD platform to create programs to send to our CNC machines operators for the leading complete storage system provider for engineering and manufacturing professionals in thousands of different industries and applications throughout the world at the Dekalb Location. The hours will be 6am-3:30pm and will include a pay range based on the quality of the interview in relation to experience and job description in the range of 22-28/hr. with comprehensive benefit package. Day in the Life Duties
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensure that all company safety standards are met.
Processes any and all job packets and explosions each morning making sure that AutoCAD SigmaNEST programs are properly installed to each CNC Machine daily
Promotes a safe work environment
Visit with CNC Machine Operators on a regular basis to ensure programs are aligned properly for the overall success of the production for that day, week, and beyond.
Respect each team member and provide timely programs and important material to key stakeholders when needed with top quality.
Significant working knowledge of AutoCAD programming specializing with the platform SigmaNEST
Working Knowledge/Experience/General Understanding of ERP Systems related to Microsoft Dynamics 365 in manufacturing CNC AutoCAD Environment
Familiar with Microsoft Office Products focusing on Excel with the ability to know who to successfully complete Customer Change Orders
Ensuring standard operating procedures are established and followed.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Must have good planning and organizational skills.
Must be able to work comfortably with other departments.
Must have a lean manufacturing background.
AutoCAD experience/Degree equivalent with 3 to 4 years of experience or significant accomplishments with SigmaNEST Programming for CNC machines
Must be able to make decisive and independent decisions.
Experience supervising in a union environment a plus.
