Job Description

SURESTAFF is immediately hiring Warehouse Associates (General Laborers) in Austin TX, 78744.  As a Warehouse Associate for SURESTAFF, you will work in a fast-paced distribution environment and be involved in all aspects of warehouse operations including:  
  1. Removal of small parts from current shelving / racking – placement of that material into move containers and applying applicable tags / signage to those containers.
  2. Bags. Boxes etc.
  3. Some light palletizing of the material.
  4. Loading of that material to trucks for transfer.
  5. Unloading of that material from trucks at the new location and placement back to shelves / racks.
  6. We will also be asking them to assist in the teardown and transfer of warehouse material and office equipment as needed.
  7. Other duties and responsibilities as required.
  8. This will be a labor intensive – must be able to lift 25lb to 50lb.
 Ability to provide their own transportation to each of the sites on the days noted.No experience is necessary and qualified applicants can start immediately!  This position will require candidates to be able to work independently and demonstrate a proactive, problem-solving attitude.   SURESTAFF is invested in their team members!  All temporary employees are offered competitive compensation ($15) as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision).  Generous referral bonuses are available upon hire.   Available shifts include Monday – Friday/with some weekends.  8/10 Hr shift 8:00am to 5:00pm ~ hours may vary depending on production need. Overtime is available on a first come, first serve basis.   Responsibilities of the Warehouse Associate (General Laborers):
  • Pick, pull, and prepare orders while maintaining an organized shipping and receiving area. 
  • Process inbound and outbound shipments. 
  • Load and unload pallets.  Scan items into inventory control system using RF Scanner. 
  • Safely & efficiently use warehouse equipment including pallet jack, hydraulic jack, RF Scanner, computers, and handheld printers. 
  • Perform cleaning and maintenance duties and report any unsafe work area conditions.    
Required Qualifications of the Warehouse Associate (General Laborers):
  • Previous warehouse experience and/or training preferred. 
  • High attention to detail and safety/compliance. 
  • Demonstrate good communication skills, problem-solving skills, and sound judgement. 
  • Ability to work overtime as needed.
