SURESTAFF is immediately hiring a Press Brake Operator for our client in Saint Charles, IL The Press Brake Operator is responsible for producing parts and tools from metal using a press brake, a computer numeric controlled (CNC) piece of equipment that makes precision bends. SURESTAFF is invested in their team members! Available shifts: 2nd shift, 4:30pm-1:00amResponsibilities of the Press Brake Operator:
Report problems with quality, processes, equipment and/or materials to Supervisor or Quality Control Specialist (QC)
Setup and operate machines, independently with limited supervision
Ensure the work area is kept clean and free from hazards
Collaborate with other departments as needed
Assist in departmental measurable goals relating production concerns, quality and efficiency
Assist in monthly inventory count to ensure proper inventory control
Preferred Qualifications of the Press Brake Operator:
Ability to work at fast pace, follow instructions and be self-motivated
Excellent math skills including fractions, and geometry
Ability to read measuring equipment, calipers and other tools
Ability to read blueprints and calculate bend allowances
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. routinely and stand for minimum of 8 hours
CAD or drafting experience is a plus
1-2 years minimum experience with Press Brakes (Amada exp. preferred, Amada HDS, HG Press Brakes and Cincinnati Press Brakes a plus)
