Here at SureStaff, LLC, we are one of the largest temp staffing companies in the US. Want to be part of our growing company? We are hiring an Accounting Specialist to help us keep growing. This is an on-site opportunity at our corporate office in Itasca. This is not hybrid or remote.
Hourly Compensation: up to $23.07 hourly(dependent upon experience and quality of interviews)
Hours: Monday thru Friday 7am/8am start
What you will do...
Accounts Receivable / Billing
Maintaining the billing system, including accounts receivable files and records, and assisting with the weekly billing process
Generating invoices and account statements
Posting cash receipts to the billing system on a timely basis and performing account reconciliations
Investigating and resolving any irregularities or inquiries
Accounts Payable
Maintain the accounts payable records
Keep track of all payments and expenditures
Establish and maintain relationships with new and existing vendors
Ensure bills are paid in a timely and accurate manner while adhering to departmental procedures
Compare purchase orders, prices, terms of payment, and other charges
Investigating and resolving any irregularities or inquiries
Assist the Chief Financial Officer and Senior Vice President of Finance & Accounting in ad-hoc requests, including general ledger bookkeeping where necessary
Requirements...
· Two- or four-year degree in accounting, finance, business, or related fields preferred or 2+ years experience with payables and receivables
· Proven organizational skills and the ability to maintain precise records
· Current familiarity with common database and spreadsheet tools, such as Excel
· Knowledge of productivity tools, including Microsoft Office Suite
· Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting
· Can work independently and without supervision when required
· An ability to prioritize and manage expectations
· A keen eye for detail
· An ability to communicate articulately and efficiently with other people within the company.
