SURESTAFF is immediately hiring an Accountant Receivable for a wholesale distribution company in Dallas, TX. As an Accountant for SURESTAFF, you will provide financial information to management by researching and analyzing accounting data. SURESTAFF is invested in their team members! All temp to perm employees are offered competitive compensation $25.00 as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision). Available shifts include Monday-Friday 8am-5pm Accountant Duties and Responsibilities:
Work with the customer to resolve disputes including working with other departments to resolve payment application and billing issues. Professional communication to customers using email and telephone to notify customer of account details including past due balances, credit limit changes and resolving payment reconciliation issues Record customer interactions Escalation and work with the Manager to address customer issues preventing them from making the payment. Reconciliation of customer accounts and process any required adjustments in the ERP System . Review accounts receivable aging . Performing bank reconciliations for review Help with financial data entry and general bookkeeping . Prepare and distribute necessary weekly, monthly, and ad hoc reports .
Accountant Requirements and Qualifications
• Previous experience in AR specially dealing with cash applications and collections. • Solid understanding of the entire AR, Sales, Deductions cycle and its interrelationship within the organization. • Basic accounting skills and knowledge of, including but not limited to, reconciliations and analysis. • Strong communication skills (both verbal and written), with an ability to sort through ambiguity and promptly resolve deductions related issues. • High level of accuracy and very detail oriented. • Strong organizational skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines and handle stressful situations. • Good customer service skills. • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and intermediate to advanced application of Excel. • Ability to interact professionally with all levels of business personnel and build strong working relationships. • Ability to work as a team player as well as independently.
