Job Description
We have a DIRECT HIRE opportunity for an Accountant at our family-owned client located in Carol Stream, IL. They fill the gaps for companies to meet their production goals by providing the equipment, setting it up, and testing it. They have been in business for over 40 years and provide room for growth. The annual compensation is between $60-80K and the working hours are 8am-5pm with rare occasions of working a Saturday -100% on-site- no hybrid/remote opportunity..
What you will be doing:- Keep financial invoice records updated, prepare reports, and reconcile daily cash deposits.
- Utilize accounting software programs to process business transactions.
- Perform other financial and other miscellaneous tasks related to accounting and procurement.
- Prepare and upload bi-monthly rental and lease invoices and ensure they are posted to the correct GL Account.
- Respond same day to the vendor, client, and internal requests.
Requirements:- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Accounting or Finance
- At least two years accounting related experience
- Intermediate to advanced Excel experience as well as other Microsoft applications required
- Great Plains experience is a plus
- Must be comfortable working in a high-visibility role
- Must be willing to take on tasks - "wear multiple hats"
