SURESTAFF is immediately hiring an assembler for a large, well-known client in Aurora, IL. The assembler is responsible for following established procedures and instructions in the creation of merchandising solutions using product assembly instructions and best practices. SURESTAFF is invested in their team members! All temp-to-hire employees are offered competitive compensation ($18/hr.) as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision). Available shifts include: Monday-Thursday 7:00am-5:30pmDuties and Responsibilities:• Reads and comprehends product assembly instructions and technical blueprints. • Completes work orders based on production goals. • Keeps accurate records of production quantities and assembly duration. • Enters accurate production information into NetSuite for labor tracking purposes. • Takes precise measurements to ensure fit of product components. • Reports any issues, malfunctions, or defects of parts to ensure accurate usable inventory levels. • Uses airpower tools, clamps, punch presses, and other heavy equipment for the assembly of products. Requirements and Qualifications:• Previous experience in assembly with shelves/shelving units• Ability to use pallet jack • Ability to read and comprehend written and verbal instructions and follow established procedures • Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 lbs. • Ability to use technology on a basic level About Surestaff
