SURESTAFF is immediately hiring for a Batcher/Blender for our client’s chemical manufacturing plant in Lake Forest, IL The Batcher/Blender is responsible for mixing chemicals to produce bulk materials for packaging production to the specifications of the batch card in a timely and safe manner. SURESTAFF is invested in their team members! All temp-to-hire employees are offered competitive compensation $19/HR as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision). Available shifts include M-F 6am-2:30pm. Overtime is available on a first come, first serve basis. Responsibilities of the Batcher/Blender
Verify written Manufacturing Formula Record and work orders.
Ensure inventory availability prior to batching.
Lead and interpret raw materials on batch sheet.
Verify and stage raw materials to appropriate area.
Document all processing steps in the batch records.
Adherence to cGMPs, SOPs, and OSHA Guidelines.
Assist with cleaning and sanitizing the batching room, which includes mopping, washing utensils used in batching.
Preferred Qualifications of the Batcher/Blender
At least 2 years of recent experience in blending.
Ability to read and comprehend work orders and batching instructions.
General math skills
Ability to lift 50 lbs. on a frequent basis.
