SURESTAFF is immediately hiring for a Batcher/Blender for our client’s chemical manufacturing plant in Lake Forest, IL The Batcher/Blender is responsible for mixing chemicals to produce bulk materials for packaging production to the specifications of the batch card in a timely and safe manner. Position will entail standing for long periods of time and lifting up to 50 pounds throughout shift. Successful applicants will be very detail-oriented and able to work with little supervision. SURESTAFF is invested in their team members! All temp-to-hire employees are offered competitive compensation $19/HR as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision). Generous referral bonuses are available upon hire. Available shifts include M-F 6am-2pm. Overtime is available on a first come, first serve basis. Responsibilities of the Batcher/Blender:
Verify written Manufacturing Formula Record and work orders.
Weigh and measure bulk ingredients into manufacturing drums for blending.
Ensure inventory availability prior to batching.
Verify and stage raw materials to appropriate area.
Adherence to cGMPs, SOPs and OSHA guidelines.
Assist with cleaning and sanitizing the batching room, which include mopping, washing utensils used in batching.
Preferred Qualifications of the Batcher/Blender
General mechanical aptitude
Must be timely, consistent, and detailed oriented.
Ability to read and comprehend work orders and batching instructions.
General math skills
