Job Description
SURESTAFF is immediately hiring a Bihler Operator for a client in Lake Zurich, IL. The Bihler Operator is responsible for operating power-driven presses to stamp or perform other shaping operations. Operates machines until accurate production has been achieved. SURESTAFF is invested in their team members! Available shifts include 2nd shift 2pm-10:30pm. Overtime is available on a first-come, first serve basis.
Responsibilities of the Bihler Operator: - Ensure quality conformance on all product run.
- Read and understand blueprints and work instructions.
- Use of inspection tools to check parts. Throughout day check parts at press.
- Handling of raw material to load and unload coils.
- Communicate with supervisor to aid in increase of production and quality.
- Needs to complete daily logs and repot production in MRP system.
- Start new coils also know functionally of press (Jog, run, stop)
- Keeping presses running thru out day
- Maintain the department/ work area clean and organized.
- Follow ISO/IATF, safety, and environmental procedures as well as department and corporate policies and procedures.
Required Qualifications of the Bihler Operator:- Knowledge of multi-slide machines and tools, a plus.
- Knowledge of calipers and micrometers, a plus.
- Company certification on forklift, a plus.
