SURESTAFF is immediately hiring a Bilingual Quality Control Inspector for a large, well-known client in Pleasant Prairie, WI. The Bilingual Quality Control Inspector will ensure that products meet standards of quality before they reach the customer. Work will typically involves checking and testing raw materials, components, or finished products, and reporting any issues that may compromise quality. This role will be essential in facilitating and conducting inspections and tests on products to ensure they meet specifications. such as measuring dimensions, testing for durability, or checking functionality. The Quality Control Technician will be collaborating with different departments, such as production, engineering, and supply chain, to address quality issues. Available Shifts:6am-6pm or 6pm-6am
Responsibilities of the Bilingual Quality Control Inspector
Collaborating with engineers or production teams to address and correct quality problems.
Conducting inspections and tests on products to ensure they meet specifications, including but not limited to incoming, process, first piece, supplemental and final inspections
Performing both visual and physical inspections, such as measuring dimensions, testing for durability, or checking functionality.
Measure and record material/product accurately using calibrated measuring equipment
Control of non-conforming material/product
Maintain material/product traceability and documentation
Use various testing tools, like micrometers, calipers, and gauges, as well as lab testing equipment (for chemical, material, or performance testing).
Ensure tools, gauges, instruments and other measuring and testing equipment are calibrated
Recording results from inspections and tests accurately and maintaining proper records for compliance and reporting purposes.
Required Qualifications of the Bilingual Quality Control Inspector:
Basic mechanical aptitude
Knowledgeable in Microsoft Excel and Word
Proficient in all areas of quality inspection
Experience using measuring equipment (micrometers, calipers) to ensure compliance with specifications
Able to visually recognize and measure particulate as small as 0.8 sq. mm.
Must successfully complete and pass a color deficiency test
Minimum of one-year experience as a Quality Assurance/Quality Control Inspector in an ISO certified (or equivalent) manufacturing environment
Capable of carrying up to 40 lbs.
Able to stand 4-6 hours daily (Ideally 6-8 hours/day)
Other duties as assigned
Proficient in English, written and spoken (bilingual in Spanish a plus)
