SURESTAFF is immediately hiring Box Operators for a client in Itasca, IL. The Machine Operator is responsible for operating automated and semi-automated production equipment to create and manufacture finished products. SURESTAFF is invested in their team members! All temp-to-hire employees are offered competitive compensation $20 as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision). Generous referral bonuses are available upon hire. Available shifts include: M-F 7a-3:30p. Overtime is available on a first come, first serve basis. Responsibilities of the Box Operator:
A Box Press Operator is responsible for setting up, operating and maintaining press machinery to cut, fold, and assemble cardboard into boxes.
Performing routine maintenance tasks on the press, such as cleaning and lubricating.Adhering to all safety protocols and wearing PPE.
Installing and adjusting dies, fixtures and workpieces on the press machine according to specifications. Observing the machine’s operation, ensuring proper functioning and making adjustments as needed to maintain quality and efficiency.
Required Qualifications of the Box Operator:
Demonstrated mechanical aptitude is essential.
Flexibility to work overtime and extra shifts as needed.
Experience reading and interpreting production specifications a plus.
