SURESTAFF is immediately hiring Brake Press Operators for a client in the metal fabrication industry located in Arlington, TX. The Brake Press Operator is responsible for setting up and operating press brake machines to bend, form, and fabricate metal components according to customer specifications. SURESTAFF is committed to its team members! All temporary employees are offered competitive compensation ($25/hour) as well as a benefits package including health (medical, dental, and vision) insurance. Available shift: Monday – Friday, 6:00am to 2:30pm. Overtime hours are available as needed. Brake Press Operator Responsibilities:
Set up and operate brake press machines to form metal parts to exact specifications.
Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical drawings to determine material and setup requirements.
Ensure proper installation of tools, dies, and back gauges before production.
Inspect finished parts for accuracy and perform quality checks throughout the process.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
Required Qualifications:
Previous experience operating a brake press or similar machinery in a metal fabrication environment.
Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.).
Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
