SURESTAFF is immediately hiring for a Laser CNC Machinist for a large manufacturing client located in Chicago, IL. SURESTAFF is invested in their team members! All temp to hire employees are offered $25.00/hr as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision). Shift: Monday-Thursday, 2nd shift: 3pm-2:30am Responsibilities of the CNC Machinist:
• Set up, operate, and maintain CNC laser cutting machines to cut sheet metal parts according to specifications. • Interpret and work from blueprints, drawings, and job orders to ensure accurate cuts and dimensions. • Load and unload sheet metal materials onto the laser table using appropriate handling equipment. • Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance. • Monitor cutting operations to detect malfunctions and adjust settings as needed. • Inspect finished parts using measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, tape measures) to verify compliance with quality standards. • Work collaboratively with engineers, supervisors, and other shop personnel to improve efficiency and resolve issues.
