SURESTAFF is immediately hiring for detail-oriented CNC Machinist for a company in Lincolnshire, IL . A successful CNC machinist should have excellent troubleshooting skills, have experience inspecting product in a fast-paced industrial manufacturing environment, and be able to ensure that product consistently meets quality standards and guidelines. SURESTAFF is invested in their team members! This is a temp to hire position. Pay rates starting at $25/hr. however, this pay rate is negotiable Responsibilities of the CNC Machinist:
Monitor production to ensure all documentation is complete.
Studies blueprints, sketches, or drawings to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished work pieces.
Measures, marks and scribes dimensions and reference points on material or work piece as guides for subsequent machine.
Selects, aligns and secures holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachment accessories and material on the machine such as grinders and lathes.
Calculates and sets controls to regulate machining factors such as speed, feed, coolant flow, as well as the depth and angle of the cut.
Starts and observes machine operation to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining.
Verifies conformance of finished work piece to the specifications by using precision measuring instruments.
Create .DXF drawings for outside service work (wire EDM, etc.)
Complies with company policies and procedures with special attention to safety regulations.
Required Qualifications of the CNC Machinist:
5+ years’ experience in mechanical inspection and manufacturing environment
Ability to follow inspection processes and plans
Experience with quality control equipment such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, surface, comparator, roughness gauges, etc.
HS diploma, or equivalent
