Job Description
SURESTAFF is immediately hiring detail-oriented CNC Operators for a company in Round Lake, IL. A successful CNC operator should have excellent troubleshooting skills, have experience inspecting products in a fast-paced industrial manufacturing environment, and be able to ensure that the product consistently meets quality standards and guidelines.
SURESTAFF is invested in its team members! This is a temp to hire positions. Pay rates start at ($19.00/HR) Available shifts include 1st shift- 5:00am-1:30pm
Responsibilities of the CNC Operator:- Monitor production to ensure all documentation is complete.
- Studies blueprints, sketches, or drawings to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished work pieces.
- Measures, marks, and scribes dimensions and reference points on material or work piece as guides for the subsequent machine.
- Selects aligns and secures holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachment accessories, and material on the machine such as grinders and lathes.
- Calculates and sets controls to regulate machining factors such as speed, feed, coolant flow, as well as the depth and angle of the cut.
- Starts and observes machine operation to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining.
- Verifies conformance of finished workpiece to the specifications by using precision measuring instruments.
- Create. DXF drawings for outside service work (wire EDM, etc.)
- Complies with company policies and procedures with special attention to safety regulations.
Required Qualifications of the CNC Operator: - 1+ years experience in CNC experience.
- Knowledge of machining and setup
- Blue print reading skills
