Industry: Aviation / AerospaceSURESTAFF is immediately hiring a CNC Operator for a large, well-established aviation/aerospace client in Arlington, TX. As a skilled CNC Operator, you will be responsible for operating CNC milling and lathe machines to produce precision aerospace components. This role requires hands-on experience with tool and value (offset) setup, blueprint reading, and maintaining tight tolerances common in aerospace manufacturing. A strong background in CNC machining within an aviation or aerospace environment is preferred. Successful candidates must demonstrate attention to detail, consistency, and a commitment to quality and safety standards.SURESTAFF is invested in their team members! Available shift: Monday – Friday, 6:00am to 2:30pm CNC Operator Duties and Responsibilities
Operate CNC milling and lathe machines to manufacture precision aerospace parts
Perform tool and value (offset) setup prior to and during production runs
Load and verify CNC programs and make machine adjustments as needed
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions
Inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measuring tools
Maintain tight tolerances and adhere to aerospace quality standards
Monitor machine performance and troubleshoot basic issues
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Complete required production and quality documentation
CNC Operator Requirements and Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required
3+ years of CNC operating experience
Proven experience with CNC milling and lathe machines
Strong knowledge of tool and value (offset) setup
Ability to read and understand blueprints; GD&T preferred
Aviation or aerospace machining experience preferred
Familiarity with AS9100 or aerospace quality standards is a plus
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality
