SURESTAFF is immediately hiring for an experienced Programmer for a large manufacturing client located in Grand Prairie, TX. This position will manufacture parts per blueprint, or process instruction, ensuring all specifications are met. SURESTAFF is invested in their team members! All temp-to-hire employees are offered competitive compensation $22 and up as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision). Available shifts: Monday - Friday 2:00 pm -10:30pm Responsibilities of the Programmer:
Must have effective knowledge of manufacturing resources including:
Must have a minimum of 4 years of CNC Programming in Mastercam Software
Experience with Vericut software is helpful, 5 Axis Programming is a plus.
Must have knowledge of shop production and machining operations.
Must be able to read, analyze, comprehend, and interpret various Engineering Drawings, Models, Bills of Materials, Technical Specifications, Quality Documents, Customer Processes, and departmental procedures as necessary to perform assigned work.
Must have Working knowledge of NC Programming, Fixture Design, Manufacturing and Planning processes and procedures.
Must be skilled in the concept related to the application of GD&T/Aerospace tolerances.
Provides set up and support documentation for manufacturing process planning sequences as required.
Provides process liaison support for manufacturing operations when MCAD models with 2D drawings exist as required.
Executes creation and maintenance of CAM programs and operator instructions for CNC machines.
Must have strong communication skills, both verbal and written, required to communicate and interact between shop floor and management as well.
Preferred Qualifications of the Programmer:
Two (2) years college or four (4) years of experience in the Aerospace industry or completed.
Extensive knowledge of machine maintenance and operation required
Must possess strong basic math skills
Proven history of working with gauges and calipers
