SURESTAFF is immediately hiring Wiring Technician for a large, well-known client in Plano TX. As an Wiring Technician, you will be an essential part of our client’s core operations, ensuring that quality product is produced, assembled, packaged, and ready for delivery to the end customer. The Wiring Technician is responsible for wiring of control panels. Ideal candidates will be self-motivated, make safety a priority, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment. SURESTAFF is invested in their team members! All temp-to-hire employees are offered competitive compensation $18 as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision). Generous referral bonuses are available upon hire. Available shifts include Monday- Friday 7am-4:30pm. Overtime is available on a first come, first serve basis. Responsibilities of the Wiring Technician:
Wire all components on the back panel and enclosure using the supplied drawing(s).
Ensure all wires are labeled at both ends correctly and that there are no wire frays.
Make sure all terminations are tight.
Make sure all wire sizes and colors are correct per standards.
Log all time spent on each job into the appropriate software database using the traveler supplied with the drawings.
Review all prints for discrepancies and questions prior to wiring of panels.
Fill out all check sheets supplied with drawings for your department.
All changes to drawings must be marked in red and signed by “changer” prior to handoff.
Clean and maintain work area(s).
Make sure all terminal labels are on and correct.
Required Qualifications of the Wiring Technician:
This position requires a significant amount of bending and standing
Basic computer skills
Ability to read wiring schematic
