SURESTAFF is immediately hiring for a Deburring Lead for a large distribution center located in Rockwall, TX. SURESTAFF is invested in their team members! All temp-to-hire employees are offered competitive compensation $20.00/hr as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision). Available shifts include Monday - Friday from 5am - 1:30pm. Responsibilities of the Deburring Lead:
Operate hand tools such as deburring knives, files, tumblers and bead blast cabinets to complete deburring and assembly tasks
Repetitive filing or use of a grinder to smooth away nicks and fragments.
Assemble components accurately and efficiently according to blueprints and specifications
Use hand arbor to press in hardware/pins, install helicoils with hand tools
Perform quality control checks to ensure products meet standards
Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work area
Collaborate with team members to meet and/or exceed production goals
Lead and motivate a team
Meet and/or exceed shipping deadlines
Previous experience in assembly and deburr
Basic math skills for measuring and calculating dimensions
Mechanical knowledge to understand assembly processes and troubleshoot issues
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
Proficient in using hand tools for assembly tasks
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
Preferred Qualifications of the Deburring Lead:
3+ years’ experience in a distribution, cargo, warehouse, etc.
General knowledge of shipping, receiving, and inventory control functions
Previous leadership experience in warehouse environment.
Proven track record of effective problem-solving.
Strong communication skills.
Strong time management of self and others.
