SURESTAFF is immediately hiring Die Cutters for a large, well-known client in Wheeling, IL. As a Die Cutter for SURESTAFF, you will perform manual and machine operator tasks related to the set-up, maintenance and operations of the Bobst Die Cutter, and be responsible for the safety of crew, quantitative and qualitative die cutter performance. SURESTAFF is invested in their team members! All temp to hire employees are offered competitive compensation ($16-30/hr.) as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision). Available shifts: 6:00am-2:00pm Monday-Friday Responsibilities of the Die Cutter:· Responsible for set up and operation of Bobst die cut equipment to accurately product to customer specifications.· Maintains general knowledge and understanding of die cutting processes and equipment.· Follows all standard operating procedures and instructions relevant to the job and position · Performs routine adjustments during the press run and maintains production throughout the run· Ensure information is communicated between shifts· Ensure company safety quality and production standards are met· Other duties as assigned Preferred Qualifications of the Die Cutter:· In depth knowledge of mechanics and capabilities of die cutting press· Strong mechanical aptitude/skills· Experience running, troubleshooting and quality control· Ability to work under minimal supervision· Understand technical written (and verbal) instructions, setup the die cutter and carry out instructions· Strong math and computer skills required· 1-3 years of experience· Comfortable standing for eight plus hours per day · Ability to work overtime
