SURESTAFF is immediately hiring Digital Press Operators for a manufacturing client in Machesney Park, IL. The Digital Press Operator is responsible for operating automated and semi-automated production equipment to create and manufacture products. SURESTAFF is invested in their team members! All temp-to-hire employees are offered competitive compensation ($19-$20/hr) as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision). Available shifts include full-time and part-time: 7am-3:30pm Responsibilities of the Digital Press Operator:
Handling pre-press file preparation
Color calibration
Performs required quality testing on products produced.
Finishing tasks such as cutting and binding
Observes machine operation to detect piece defects or machine malfunction. Makes corrections to alleviate out of specification product.
Position will entail standing for long periods of the day and lifting up to 50 pounds during shift.
Required Qualifications of the Digital Press Operator:
1+ years of experience in printing press operation or a related manufacturing environment
Strong mechanical aptitude, basic math skills (including reading a ruler), and the ability to interpret blueprints or job orders
Attention to detail to ensure color consistency and meeting precise quality standards.
