SURESTAFF is immediately hiring Group Lead for a plastics manufacturing client in Hazle Township, PA. The Group Lead uses physical analysis and scanning equipment to confirm accuracy of pallet tags versus pallet loads and authorize them for delivery into the inventory control system, and uses powered or hand operated lift equipment, stacks, tiers or moves product, equipment or materials.

Available Shifts:1st shift - Wednesday-Saturday 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM
Responsibilities of the: Group Lead
Enforces work procedures and warehousing practices to control costs and improve efficiency.
Monitors performance and progress of hourly employees.
Supports and enforces safe work environment and good housekeeping by monitoring daily activities and enforcing safe work practices. Maintains inventory record accuracy by training subordinates and enforcing proper scanning procedures.
Enforces safety of operating equipment.
Leads hourly employees work schedules
Disperses workloads to hourly employees
Assists Supervisor/Manager with daily, weekly or monthly reports.
Assists hourly employees in picking, loading, and shipping customer orders.
Reviews Customer Vendor Guides regularly for updates
Enforces 5S housekeeping practices
Enforces upkeep of warehouse and equipment conditions
Must hold valid stand up/sit down forklift certification
Must be able to operate RF scanner and have the ability to train others in its use
Required Qualifications of the: Group Lead
A high school diploma, or equivalent, and 2 years of distribution related experience.
Must be certified in forklift safety
