SURESTAFF is immediately hiring a Mechanical Assembler for a client in Arlington, TX.
SURESTAFF is invested in their team members! All temp-to-hire employees are offered competitive compensation ($19/hr) as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision).
Available shift: Monday – Friday | 5 AM – 2:30 PM
Responsibilities of the Mechanical Assembler:
Assemble mechanical parts, pieces, or products using handheld tools such as screwdrivers, drills, wrenches, wire cutters, and soldering equipment.
Follow blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, and other documentation to ensure accurate assembly.
Maintain workstation inventory and perform quality checks to ensure product meets established standards.
Identify and document defects, perform rework or repairs as required.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
Work efficiently in a lean, fast-paced production setting.
Communicate effectively with team members and contribute to overall team success.
Requirements and Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED required.
1–2 years of mechanical assembly experience.
Ability to read and interpret work instructions, safety rules, blueprints, and technical documents.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multi-tasking skills.
Basic computer skills and ability to follow direction without continuous supervision.
Strong work ethic, dependable attendance, and a team-player attitude.
Physical ability to perform repetitive tasks and stand for extended periods.
