Facility Maintenance Professionals are responsible for basic maintenance and repair of the facility, including interior and vital systems, cleaning common areas, removing trash regularly & repairing items that are broken. This position is also responsible for performing maintenance of key automation equipment such as mail processing and measurement equipment. This position will be onsite at the Itasca, Illinois facility. Pay Rate: $23/hr.Shift: 7:30am-3:30pm M-F Facility Maintenance Responsibilities:
Perform routine and preventive maintenance on the ID Mail Machine and V Measure equipment.
Conduct weekly calibration checks across all relevant machines to ensure measurement accuracy.
Liaise with the IT Department to support operations-related technology issues.
Accountable to ensure all processes are followed through to the completion of work tasks. Provide first level instruction(s) and guidance to staff, regularly audit work processes and final product to confirm product specifications and defined SOPs are met.
Keeping tool & supply inventory
Escort vendors & contractors onsite for maintenance / repairs to the facility.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Facility Maintenance Requirements & Skills:
Prior experience in operations, facilities, or equipment maintenance preferred
Familiarity with mail sorting or measurement machines (e.g., ID Mail, V Measure) is a plus
Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks
Position may require weekend (Sat or Sun) workdays as part of reoccurring schedules.
Able to communicate clearly and courteously with those who need to know of decisions/actions/problems.
Able to apply expertise in all the tools or applications used to complete work assignments.
Be able to stand/walk for long periods of time, frequently push, pull, bend and reach, and lift up to 49 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
