SURESTAFF is immediately hiring for Firewatchers in Valparaiso, IN. As a Firewatcher for SURESTAFF, you will work in a manufacturing environment and be involved in an essential part of the production process.
SURESTAFF is invested in their team members! All temp-to-hire employees are offered competitive compensation ($18/hr) as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision). Generous referral bonuses are available upon hire.
Available shifts include: 1st Shift: 6a-6p 2nd Shift: 6p-6a Overtime will be available as needed. Responsibilities of the Firewatcher:
Will watch the box hot embers fall into and make sure it does not start to smoke.
If smoking of box occurs, notify Supervisor or pull fire alarm.
Required Qualifications of the Firewatcher:
Ability to remain focused in a potentially low stimulating environment.
High attention to detail and safety/compliance.
Demonstrate good communication skills, problem-solving skills, and sound judgement.
Ability to work overtime as needed.
