Job Description
SURESTAFF is immediately hiring Flexo Press Operators for a client in Crystal Lake, IL. The Flexo Press Operator is responsible for operating automated and semi-automated production equipment to create and manufacture finished products.
SURESTAFF is invested in their team members! All temp-to-hire employees are offered competitive compensation ($30-$35/hr) as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision). Available shifts include 3rd 10:00pm-6:30am Monday-Friday. Training will be done 1st shift 6:00am-2:30pm Monday-Friday. Responsibilities of the Flexo Press Operator: - Directs and monitors activities of crew if helper is packing products off press.
- Reviews Job Packet to determine needs for production.
- Ensure High Quality Output of printed materials
- Ensure accurate completion of all related paperwork.
- Confirm that the department has adequate supplies.
- Cleans inking rolls with solvent, using protective gloves, and replaces them in press using hand tools.
- Additional duties as requested
Required Qualifications of the Flexo Press Operator:- H.S. Diploma or GED
- 2+ years roll to roll, wide web, min of 40” wide, central impression Flexo press operator experience (2+ yrs press op and 5 yrs total machine op exp)
- Should live close by, no more than 40 minute drive one way
- Ability to read and use a Ruler/Tape Measure
- Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 65 pounds w/out help
- Ability to match or detect differences between colors, including shades of color and brightness
- Activity: Active, Fingering, talking, hearing, repetitive motions, climbing, squatting, walking, lifting, pulling, bending.
