SURESTAFF is immediately hiring for a Flexo Press Operator for our client in Carrollton, TX. The Flexo Press Operator is responsible for operating automated and semi-automated production equipment. Flexo press operators should have strong attention to detail and an understanding of multi-color printing processes. SURESTAFF is invested in their team members! Generous referral bonuses are available upon hire. Available shifts include Monday - Friday 6 am- 3 pm Overtime is available on a first come, first serve basis. Responsibilities of the Flexo Press Operator:
Monitor feeding, printing, and racking processes of presses to maintain specified operating levels and to detect malfunctions, making adjustments as necessary. Blend and test inks, stains, and solvents according to types of material being printed and work order specifications.
Filling ink, calibrating the machine, and feeding paper or textiles into it.
Adjusting the speed, ink flow, and pressure tolerances, and installing plates, rollers, inks, and dies.
Making adjustment during the printing run to maintain quality and meet job order requirements.
Notifying supervision of needed repairs and replacements parts, and ensuring the equipment is in safe operating condition.
Required Qualifications of the Machine Operator:
Previous experience in production, manufacturing, assembling, and/or machine operating.
Demonstrated mechanical aptitude is essential.
Flexibility to work overtime and extra shifts as needed.
Experience reading and interpreting production specifications a plus.
Understanding of multi-color printing processes.
They should also be able to read job printing orders accurately and follow their specifications.
