Work with the largest, privately held, North American supplier of Gears, Gearboxes, Shafts, and Assemblies for the Commercial, Aerospace, Defense, and Aviation industries as a Heat Treat Loader. This is a direct-hire opportunity on 2nd shift and is a union job. 3:30pm-midnight Pay up to $23.22/hr plus a 10% shift premium This year they will celebrate 76 years in business. They pride themselves on injecting advanced manufacturing processes and vertically integrating with world-class heat treating and plating facilities. REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to neatly and accurately document data on permanent heat treatment records.
Ability to verify equipment and gages are up to date with calibrations, PM’s, and pyrometric requirements.
Ability to make up loads, load/unload all equipment including high-temperature box furnaces into the die quench presses.
Ability to load and unload work baskets and operate shot blast equipment.
Ability to perform center lap on parts per engineering routing.
Ability to apply carburizing and nitriding stop-off paints per internal procedures by dipping or brushing.
Ability to assemble painted parts with bolts and washers as required by operation sketch.
Ability to work from process sketches for selective painting of parts.
Ability to copper strip parts per internal procedures.
Ability to operate blasting equipment per internal procedures.
Ability to set up and run automatic blasting equipment
Ability to thoroughly remove scale and other contaminants from steel parts without removing excessive base material.
Ability to maintain proper abrasive levels, replace nozzles as necessary, and perform routine maintenance of equipment as required
