SURESTAFF is immediately hiring Injection Molding Helper for a customer plastics injection molding position in Round Lake, IL. The Plastic Injection Molding Machine helper will manage the molding process including; help with mold changeovers, troubleshooting, repair, machine set up, and other operation of molding machine and auxiliary equipment. SURESTAFF is invested in their team members! All temp-to-hire employees are offered competitive compensation $18/hr. as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision). Generous referral bonuses are available upon hire. Available shifts include 7:00am - 3:30pm 8:00am - 4:30pm. Overtime is available on a first come, first serve basis. Responsibilities of the Plastic Injection Molding helper
Set-up and operate injection molding machines, vision systems, down-stream equipment, and material feed equipment.
Monitor process parameters on the injection machines and secondary systems.
Safe, accurate, and timely executive of tooling changeovers per work instructions.
Set up and adjust assembly, auxiliary, and packaging equipment.
Troubleshoot molding problems including but not limited to flash, short shots, dimensional issues, etc.
Required Qualifications of the Plastic Injection Molding helper:
Previous experience in production, manufacturing, assembling, and/or machine operating.
Previous plastics injection molding experience a plus.
Flexibility to work overtime and extra shifts as needed.
Experience reading and interpreting production specifications a plus.
