SURESTAFF is immediately hiring Injection Molding Technicians. Join a team that values efficiency, safety, and ongoing development!Position OverviewThe Injection Molding Technician maintains production yields and quality by inspecting processes, reviewing reports, and coordinating across shifts. This role is responsible for tool changes using Rapid Tool Change (RTC) methods per the production schedule. Injection Molding TechnicianLocation: Elk Grove Village, IL Pay: $20–$32/hr (OT may be needed) Type: Temp to Hire Available Shifts
1st Shift: 8:30am–5:00pm
2nd Shift: 5:00pm–1:30am
Key Responsibilities
Inspect and review processes to ensure yields greater than 95%.
Respond to equipment alarms and document corrective actions.
Repair processes/equipment as prioritized daily.
Maintain accurate logs for production reporting.
Perform daily mold cleanings as outlined in Process Binders.
Complete shut-down and close-out activities; submit data to Quality.
Collaborate with Production Control to maintain RTC calendar.
Execute all RTC events per the RTC Checklist.
Train and assist less experienced staff as directed.
Supervise workplace safety and improve working conditions.
Create and process work orders for equipment repairs.
Additional duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Prior injection molding and industry experience.
Able to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand/walk for long shifts.
Basic math skills and problem-solving ability.
Strong reading comprehension and communication skills.
Ability to follow instructions precisely.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
