SURESTAFF is immediately hiring a Production Clerk for a large, well-known client in Midlothian, TX. SURESTAFF is invested in their team members! All temp-to-hire employees are offered competitive compensation $18.50 as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision). Generous referral bonuses are available upon hire. Available shifts include Monday - Friday 5am - 2:30pm Clerk Duties and Responsibilities•Verify that the department has all necessary materials for production process. •Kit/Prepare all planned WO’s for the week to ensure no delays in production. •Coordinate with quality, planning and inventory control on scheduled orders and related materials. •Data entry on several reports, work orders and Oracle. •Run daily reports of on hand inventory and statuses as needed. •Weekly reports on WIP Variances, Scrap rates and aging inventory in departments without movement. •Cycle count department inventory based off provided schedule. •Investigate and take corrective action on inventory and work order discrepancies that are found. •Consistent communication with all related departments in facility to coordinate and support production process. •Review inventory is moving in and out of transitional locations in a timely manner. •Maintain a clean and organized work area according to GMP that inventory is easily accessible and properly stored. •Maintain inventory accuracy and assist other departments with clerical duties when needed. •And other duties as needed. Clerk Requirements and Qualifications
High school degree.
Associate’s degree or relevant certification is a plus.
Proven, successful work experience in the accounting field, preferably as an accounts receivable clerk or accounts payable clerk.
Solid working knowledge of bookkeeping and basic accounting procedures.
Proficiency in MS Office, as well as relevant database and accounting software.
Significant, hands-on experience with spreadsheets and financial reports.
Commitment to accuracy and attention to detail.
Aptitude for numbers.
Ability to perform all filing and record keeping duties.
Solid data entry and word processing skills.
Excellent organization skills.
