Job Description
SURESTAFF is hiring a Kitchen Lead for the food company, Hello Fresh, in Aurora, IL. As a Kitchen Lead for SURESTAFF, you will be responsible for supporting the Sous Chef in running daily kitchen operations. This role will ensure that all food prepared meets the highest quality standards and follows all SOP’s and company practices. independently are key for this role. Kitchen Lead Shift Hours: 3rd shift: 10pm - 6:30am
Kitchen Lead Responsibilities: - Coach all kitchen employees to follow policies and procedures.
- Assist the Sous Chef in maintaining security and upkeep of the kitchen, including equipment, food, and supply inventories.
- Occasionally required to communicate with other departments, such as Quality or Production, to collaborate and solve problems.
- Assist the Sous Chef with ensuring the kitchen operates alongside state and federal health and safety codes.
- Reports all kitchen issues to an immediate supervisor.
- Maintain cleanliness of work area.
Kitchen Lead Required Qualifications: - Lead experience or similar role is required.
- Previous food industry experience preferred.
- Dress warmly! Cold environment (35 degrees).
- Slip-resistant shoes are required.
