SURESTAFF is immediately hiring for a Lab Tech in Midlothian, TX. As a Lab Tech for SURESTAFF, you will work with Food &Dietary Supplement Scientist to support the day-to-day functioning of the Food Laboratory.  SURESTAFF is invested in their team members! Generous referral bonuses are available upon hire. Available shifts include 1st from 5am to 2pm. Responsibilities of the Lab Tech:
Prepares food samples.
Collects and receives samples of raw materials used in production that are under the purview of the Food Lab.
Processes samples for testing in the Food lab as well as submits them for testing by additional labs.
Performs occasional testing on finished food and dietary supplement products.
Assists in documentation and archiving, and in managing reference materials and retainer samples.
Assists with processing vendor qualifications.
Maintains equipment logs, cleans and manages glassware, and assists in keeping the lab clean and organized.
Follows Good Laboratory Practices and current Good Manufacturing Practices
Assist the R&D Dept with Product Claim substantiation documentation.
Assists in other areas of the R&D Department when needed
Required Qualifications of the Lab Tech:
Excellent attention to detail.
Verbal and written communication skills.
Experience working with lab equipment.
Mathematic and measurement skills.
Ability to keep detailed records.
Ability to multi-tasking skills.
Ability to follow instructions carefully and accurately.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to carry up to 25Ibs.
Tidy, Organized, and know how to clean and organize the lab before and after the lab work.
Ability to organize the lab for conducting research and avoiding errors.
