Job Description
SURESTAFF is immediately hiring Lamination Machine Helpers for a client in Cary, IL. The Lamination Machine Helper is responsible for staging material, preparing written production paperwork, mixing batches of adhesives and coatings, loading and unloading of materials onto Lamination Machines. SURESTAFF is invested in their team members! Lamination Machine Helper Shift Hours: Rotating nights, shift 6pm-6:30am
Responsibilities of the Lamination Machine Helper: - Make and interpret measurements with a standard ruler to 1/16 of an inch
- Acquiring materials for production runs
- Safely and effectively operates equipment to produce quality product
- Reads job specifications and previous run data (if available) to determine machine adjustments and material requirements. Ensures job is in order prior to machine set-up.
- Performs required quality testing on products produced.
- Observes machine operation to detect piece defects or machine malfunction. Makes corrections to alleviate out of specification product.
- Position will entail standing for long periods of the day and lifting up to 50 pounds during shift.
Required Qualifications of the Lamination Machine Helper:- 2+ years' of experience in automotive or manufacturing machines preferred
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude is essential.
- Flexibility to work overtime and extra shifts as needed.
- Experience reading and interpreting production specifications a plus.
- Must pass a pre-employment ruler test
