SURESTAFF is immediately hiring a Line Lead in McCook, IL. SURESTAFF is invested in their team members! All temp-to-hire employees are offered competitive compensation ($16.50-$17.50/Hour) as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision). Available shifts:3rd shift: 11:00 pm-7:00 am. Responsibilities of the Line Lead:
Supervise a team of production workers and master the proper procedures for workers to follow
Ensure that workers use tools and equipment properly and safely.
Communicate with the team adherence to the production and quality goals throughout the shift
Provide positive reinforcement and promote employee creativity, safety and problem solving
Monitor hourly and daily production goals to ensure the team is meeting and exceeding production standards
Line lead should be able to work the flexible schedule including the ability to work on multiple production lines.
Accurately report all jobs and reconciliations within the Pack Manager/ Nulogy system
Execute real time scanning to ensure proper reporting
Ability to notify other departments for assistance in proper timing
Train new employees on all aspects of production (i.e. quality, maintenance, safety, efficiency, etc.)
Able to perform and coach on all different tasks associated with Manufacturing Procedures
Train and reinforce all employees to learn and follow all quality and safety standards
Work with all support teams to ensure best quality and efficiency of the production line
Instruct your production team on proper emergency evacuation plan
Ensure all team members follow and are in accordance with provided recommended PPE
Investigate and report all incidents (i.e. spills, accidents, poor performance, etc.)
Required Qualifications of the Line Lead:
Must complete LOTO (Lock Out/Tag Out) training prior to be trained on the production lines.
Must be proficient in writing and speaking either English and Spanish
PREFERRED SKILLS:
Must be detail oriented and organized
Good communication skills
