Job Description
SURESTAFF is hiring a Loader and Unloader for the logistics company, C.H. Robinson, in Des Plaines, IL. The Loader and Unloader is responsible for operating equipment to receive, move, locate, relocate, and ship merchandise.
Temp-to-hire role, after 90 days you may receive up to an additional $2/hr. Must be able to reliably commute to DES PLAINES, IL 60018
Pay Rate:
$18/hour
Loader and Unloader Shift Hours:Monday - Friday
7AM- 3:30PM
Responsibilities of the Loader and Unloader: - Load and unload inbound and outbound shipments inside the warehouse facility.
- Verify the accuracy of quantity and quality of deliveries and shipments.
- Performs picking/packing duties efficiently and safely while meeting the company's service and time standards.
- Label every product and move them accordingly within the warehouse.
- Keep all material handling equipment in the best condition by conducting regular maintenance.
- Using RF scanners.
Required Qualifications of the Loader and Unloader:- 1 year of material handler or loader/unloader experience is required.
- Ability to operate pallet jacks required.
- Computer savvy - Outlook, Excel, Word experience are required. Use a tablet to document inventory.
- Heavy lifting up to 60 lbs. and standing for long periods.
