SureStaff is seeking experienced forklift operators to work at our client, CH Robinson, in DesPlaines, IL. These positions are 90 day temp-to-hire. Qualifications
DAILY FUNCTIONS
- Able to expeditiously comprehend Microsoft Outlook
- Able to expeditiously comprehend Microsoft Excel.
- Able to expeditiously comprehend and prepare customer orders for picking by warehouse team.
- Following of standard operating procedures for all active accounts
- Able to read, comprehend and apply basic math skills to all shipping and receiving documentation, including BOL’s, delivery orders, work orders, manifests, etc.
- Maintaining a constant sense of urgency to best meet deadlines
- Maintaining constant attention to detail
- COMPLIANCE AND SAFETY
- Submit to and pass a background check, obtaining clearance as required by the TSA for acquisition of an STA#, as directed by management
- Contributing to meeting the compliance standards as defined for a Container Freight Station and a Certified Cargo Screening Facility
- Follow all safety regulations per facility and OSHA requirements
- Immediately alert management of potential safety hazards
- Being at work on time and as scheduled
- Accurately report hours worked, and staying within company policies with regards to lunches and breaks
- TEAMWORK AND PROFESSIONALISM
- Performing assignments as delegated by the warehouse lead or supervisor
- Operate always keeping safety, accuracy, and productivity at an optimum
- Work well with others as needed, contributing to a positive working environment
- Maintaining a constant sense of urgency and an attention to detail
