SURESTAFF is immediately hiring Machine Operators for a plastic manufacturing client in Grapevine, TX. The Machine Operator is responsible for operating automated and semi-automated blow mold injection machines to create and manufacture finished plastic products.SURESTAFF is invested in their team members! All temp-to-hire employees are offered competitive compensation ($19/hr during training, $20/hr once transitioned to 2nd shift) as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision). Generous referral bonuses are available upon hire.Available shifts include a rotating 12-hour schedule (7:00am–7:00pm). During training, the schedule will be two weeks on day shift, Monday–Friday, 7:00am–3:30pm. Overtime is available on a first come, first serve basis.Responsibilities of the Machine Operator:
Prepare machine for production by positioning and securing molds, dies, guides, and related equipment.
Safely and effectively operate blow mold injection equipment to produce quality plastic products.
Read job specifications and previous run data (if available lasting) to determine machine adjustments and material requirements. Ensures job is in order prior to machine set-up.
Monitor machine operation to detect defects or equipment malfunctions and make adjustments as needed.
Perform required quality testing on products produced to ensure they meet specifications.
Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow all safety guidelines.
Position requires standing for long periods of the day and lifting up to 50 pounds during the shift.
Required Qualifications of the Machine Operator:
Previous experience in production, manufacturing, assembly, and/or machine operation preferred.
Demonstrated mechanical aptitude is essential.
Flexibility to work rotating schedules, overtime, and extra shifts as needed.
Experience reading and interpreting production specifications is a plus.
