SURESTAFF is immediately hiring Machine Operators for a HUGE client in Lewisville, TX. The Machine Operator is responsible for operating automated and semi-automated production equipment to create and manufacture finished products. SURESTAFF is invested in their team members! All temp-to-hire employees are offered competitive compensation $19.00-$23.00 DOE as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision). Generous referral bonuses are available upon hire. Available shifts include 1st 5am-5pm- . Overtime is available on a first come, first serve basis. If you have experience working in the food industry with vertical form fill machinery or related equipment, and you are looking for a chance to join an excellent team ---- then we are looking for you NOW! We have openings on our 1st shift, with schedules that offer improved work-life balance. Current schedule is Monday - Thursday, 10 hour shifts, with opportunities for OT. Position may move to 12-hour shifts (42 hr work week) in consideration of production requirements.Our operators are responsible for proper machine operation, trouble-shooting, routine maintenance, control of finished product, and documentation of all required quality and performance parameters of the machinery and production line.Candidates should have 2-5 years direct experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment. Additional requirements include the following:
Familiarity with Standard Operating Procedures and safety regulations in accordance with cGMPs
Strong mechanical and maintenance background
Ability to assemble and disassemble equipment in a timely manner
Equipment cleaning, routine maintenance and trouble-shooting mechanical issues
Proven history of good attendance and adherence to safety rules
Quality inspections of finished products prior to packing
Communication with supervisor(s) relative to quality, mechanical or personnel issues
