SURESTAFF is immediately hiring for an experienced Industrial Machine Mechanic for a large, established client located in Grapevine,TX. Industrial Machine Mechanic will ensure that equipment and machinery are working at optimal efficiency to produce and manufacture products safely and on time. This position will perform electrical, mechanical, sheet metal, welding, and pipefitting duties which involve replacing, repairing, and cleaning equipment and/or component parts. This position will entail standing for long periods of time and lifting up to 50 pounds during shift. SURESTAFF is invested in their team members! All temp-perm employees are offered competitive compensation ($XX/hr) as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision). Generous referral bonuses are available upon hire. Available shifts include $20.00. Overtime is available on a first come, first serve basis. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESTo support the team in all aspects of production and maintenance.
Machine operation
Production reporting (Production downtimes/losses)
Assist Team Leads in preventative and reactive maintenance of equipment
Quality Management – accurate recording of samples
Learn the plastic blow moulding trade and stand in for team leader in their absence
Maintaining Food hygiene standards – Housekeeping
Tool change (Mould and Neck)
Complete daily routine work as listed
Provide coverage for other shifts as and when required
COMPENTENCIES & QUALIFICATIONS
Required good mechanical aptitude skills
Previous manufacturing experience preferred
Must be able to demonstrate a good “hands on” working approach
Have the proven ability to work well under pressure in a fast, active environment
Must be able to provide externally recognized levels of competence that are consistent with the role
PYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to sit, climb, stand, crawl, bend and walk on a varying basis throughout assigned work schedule
Ability to carry and/or lift up to 50 pounds
